Counseling

The Anti-Discrimination Office at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers counseling and support for cases of discrimination. Counseling is available to all university members and affiliates who have experienced or witnessed discrimination, including students, staff, professors, lecturers, job applicants, etc.

• Counseling is confidential—inquiries and counseling sessions are kept strictly secret, unless the person seeking counseling requests otherwise.
• Counseling is focused on the needs of those seeking advice and – we stand against discrimination. Your perspective, experiences, and needs are the focus of the counseling.
• The counseling can be conducted anonymously, under a pseudonym, or accompanied by support person, upon request.
• The counseling offers an opportunity to talk in a safe space. We will discuss with you what options you have and what action you would like to take. Upon request, we will support you in your next steps.
